IHCC Campus in Autumn
|
In preparation for the AQIP Quality Check-up in October, 2008, this Quality Program Summary describes the college's quality program and how it provides the structure for major initiatives at the college. Background: Inver Hills Community College was admitted to AQIP in 2002 and in 2004, the College received approval to deliver all of its degrees and certificates online. At the College’s first Strategy Forum the team’s work was focused on designing the College’s first AQIP Action Projects. Each of the College’s first three Action Projects had three-year timelines, all being retired in Fall 2006. In 2006, Inver Hills launched three new AQIP Action Projects, and in 2007, the College added a fourth project. During the 2005-06 academic year the College wrote its first System Portfolio. The creation of each Category of the Portfolio was managed by a cross-functional team. Inver Hills Community College submitted its Systems Portfolio in Spring 2006. The Category Teams have continued to work with the Portfolio, responding to the appraisal and working to update Category data. (back) (next)
